Congresswoman Bella was raised in a low-income immigrant household in Marfa, Texas. Whilst in that environment, she learned from her parents about the value of hard work and the struggles of poverty. Bella graduated from Harvard Law school, and in 2014 successfully ran for congress as senator of Massachusetts. Bella’s Campaign believes in many of the staples of left-wing american politics. According to senator Bella, the main focuses of her campaign are tax and education reform. Learn wants to increase taxation on the uber-wealthy and reduce the loopholes/tax evasion that is allowing them to not pay taxes, and thus, hurting the nation as a whole. Regarding the education system, Learn strongly believes that low income school districts should receive state and federal subsidies. Overall, Bella’s essential goal is to “Level the Playing Field,” to promote a better America. We are eager to see how Bella does in this election, for she is running a fairly appealing platform with strong ideals.
